Welcome!  

Season 2011/12 beckons  and it is with great pleasure that we look forward to warmly welcoming you all back for another season.

On a personal note, I am very excited to enter my first season as the newly appointed President of BSA.   I am also pleased to announce that we have several newly appointed committee members , welcoming Tyson Howard, Vice President to the Board & Kylie Bruce, Executive Member.  Sue Sanders, Secretary, and Dave Trotman, Treasurer, complete the executive team. New committee members Mick, Tanya and Shane join incumbents Anne and Alana.   I am privileged to lead such a passionate team of committee members and I am confident that we will all give no less than 100% to ensure your 2011/12 season is a success.

Dave continues to improve our website - making it a user friendly port of call for our softballing community.  Anything and everything you need to know can be found here, including fixtures, ladders and umpiring duties.


Last season we had great success with the Yellow Socks Softball Challenge!  This was a wonderful day of community spirit and good fun.  It allowed softball to receive such wonderful positive publicity, raised much needed funds for cancer and was greatly supported by everyone.  We are in continual discussions with the Broncos and working towards having this again on our agenda for the upcoming season.  The BSA website will keep you posted on our progress. 

This year we are concentrating on developing the game at the grass root levels - that means all of you.  We look forward to working with each and every one of you to ensure your softball experience is the best it can be.  We have an open door policy, so please feel free to come and chat to any of us, at any time, with your ideas.  After all, it's your game!
